Peppermint Playhouse is entering a new phase of Childcare and Preschool.  We are now accepting children during the public school year.  We will be open during the traditional school hours of August through May, closing during the summer and Christmas holidays and Spring Break.  You can find out more information by calling us.  We look forward to talking with you and meeting your little one!

Ah Summer!

Ok, so it's not technically summer yet, but there's something about popsicles and watermelon that sure make it feel that way!

Well I suppose since this blog has a follower now, I better post something! This blog was created primarily as an outreach for my home childcare and preschool. I have run a preschool out of my home for the last 6 years or so. Before that, I taught preschool for several years in various local child care centers. I have also taught kindergarten, and been a substitute teacher for the public school system. Through this blog, I hope to encourage other providers, share links, resources, and knowledge. I also provide this service for parents of the children whom I care for, as well as prospective parents. I hope you find my posts to be helpful. And I hope I can keep up with this blog among the many other tasks I have every day!! Please don't hesitate to share with me your thoughts on childcare and preschool as well, as sharing is one great way in which we learn from each other.
